The MISSION ON EARTH - LAVA is a non-limited model from the BIOCERAMIC MOONSWATCH collection, created through the collaboration between OMEGA and Swatch. Inspired by the fiery appearance of lava as seen from space, this distinctive chronograph combines a vibrant orange Bioceramic case with a black dial and matching black VELCRO® strap.

The black dial features orange hands and hour markers, while the orange chronograph seconds hand pays tribute to the color and shape of the OMEGA 1968 Speedmaster Moonwatch "Ultraman". Recessed subdials feature radial Arabic numerals and indexes inspired by Speedmaster watches associated with the Alaska II and III projects.

The watch is completed with a black Bioceramic bezel featuring a white tachymeter scale, orange TACHYMÈTRE lettering and a black VELCRO® strap with contrasting orange stitching. Selected hands and hour markers feature Grade A Super-LumiNova® with green emission for visibility in low light.

The MISSION ON EARTH - LAVA is inspired by the dramatic appearance of lava viewed from space. It belongs to a trio of non-limited MISSION ON EARTH models alongside MISSION ON EARTH - POLAR LIGHTS and MISSION ON EARTH - DESERT.

The orange-and-black color combination gives the watch a bold appearance, while the chronograph layout retains the recognizable Speedmaster-inspired design language of the BIOCERAMIC MOONSWATCH collection.

Bioceramic Construction

Swatch's patented Bioceramic material combines two-thirds ceramic with one-third biosourced material derived from castor oil. The result is a robust material with the characteristic silky matte finish used throughout the BIOCERAMIC MOONSWATCH collection.
